Olivier, the land-based Popping Master

Let's meet Olivier - A self-taught, land-based popping master with numerous beastly catches on his track record… At 70 lbs, this Giant Trevally is not Olivier's biggest catch. With a jaw-dropping statistics of 50 Giant Trevallies ranging from 20 to 90 lbs (Oct. 2017 - to date), it is very difficult for Olivier to pass unnoticed within the amateur anglers community. Large catch, light setup...

Let's meet Nitin Seeruttun - At his best, a 54lbs Trevally with a light setup... Nitin with 54lbs Trevally (Carangue), Location: Trou aux Biches, Mauritius, Season: Winter 2020, Daiwa Crossfire 7ft rod, Shimano FX 4000 reel, Jbraid 34lbs multicolor, Shuriken softbait, Mustad 28g Jighead, Dragon invisible fluorocarbon 30lbs, FG knot. At only 11, Nitin knew that fishing will be his hobby. He started fishing from the shore and soon he networked with friends and relatives who shared the same interest. As time passes and with his interaction with the fishing community, he gained in experience and knowledge, aiming for better equipments and bigger fish.
